About Us

In February of 1996, the Archbishop's Commission on Community Health (ACCH) conducted a Community Health Assessment which identified immigrants and refugees as one of four populations facing barriers to care. Individuals and organizations that assist immigrant and refugee communities came together to reduce language and cultural barriers to health and social services. The result of this collaborative effort is LAMP, an agency of Catholic Family Services.
